CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.0 based on 6 reviews)
| Not for me by hd (fairfield) 2 Stars December 30, 2008 I took a class based on this author's work - it was great. But the book I found fairly useless. I was hoping there would be more attention paid to different weight lifting exercises but that was a very small part of the book. It was more about her opinions on bones which I found irrelevant for me. I am not a big western medicine fan but if you are then you might enjoy this book. I gave it away.
| | Just what the MD told me by Jeanette Ewing (Panhandle, TX) 4 Stars December 17, 2008 Book offered confirmation of information I have been told for many years by my MD.
well written and easy to read.
| | Strong Book by Heather Dubov (Allentown Pa) 5 Stars August 17, 2008 I am one of those many young (-ish...44) women
who appear to be in good shape but
walk around with osteopenia and most of the
risk factors for osteoporosis. This book was
written in simple-to-understand English, based
on sound modern research. It gave me a place to
start my quest to get stronger. I am buying it
for many of my girlfriends.
| | Elementary, my dear by Happy Feet (Camp Hill, PA) 3 Stars June 04, 2007 If you're new to the topic of osteoporosis, this looks like a good starting point. But if you've been staying up-to-date by reading articles and talking to health professionals and people who've been diagnosed, you'll already know most of what's in this book.
| | Strong Women, Strong Bones, Updates by M.E. (St. Paul, MN USA) 5 Stars January 19, 2007 Very good information for women of all ages. The updated version was similar to the orginal but some new info.
