BEST prescription & over the counter med. Book on market!! by Carol Montgomery (Tx United States) 5 Stars
December 26, 2008
I will not use another Prescription book, as the is the absolute best one on the market. Every time I know a revised book is coming out ( but not necessary for all people to keep rebuying new ones- I just to), I always keep the updated version in my home, and I will NOT take a Med. prescribed before I read up on it. THIS book helped my husband tremendously and also his Dr. , as my husband had to be rushed to a hospital and it was THIS BOOK that told our Dr. that he had every common, less common & less frequesnt side affect-thus he was able to be treated. This was 4 yrs. ago about my husband. I even bought the book for that DR.,as he liked it alot too and wanted one! Even tells you how long it will take before med. starts working!

Easy to read and understand. by B. Jones (Richmond, VA USA) 5 Stars

Although the book itself is bulky, and you have to buy these guides at least every two years because of changing drug info, this book is an excellent and easy to read guide to most of the drugs on the market, including over-the-counter drugs. Each drug that is listed has two pages of info, including if you can take it with alcohol and other drugs. It has many extras as well on health-related material, far easier than finding it on line. Simply look in the drug name index in the back pages, then find your drug with the page number on it. With more than 5,000 drugs listed, you should be able to find most common drugs.

This book is awful. I am a medical biller and I have looked up several medications and cannot find any of them in this book. It is hard to find anything in this book. I would not recommend this book to anyone.
