We have had a hard time getting him to eat veggies. We were told to do everything we could to make veggies fun for him. He just loves these books.

My mom picked up this book for my 2.5-year-old daughter laughing her a** off. My daughter had to warm to it and now is old enough to appreciate that there are two levels...people in vehicles AND food. We're struggling to get her to eat her veggies and this book helped us be more effective with that conversation. Delightful and clever artistry. I really adore the green onion people and my daughter loves the little fat mushroom people. I do find myself wondering 'who has time to make this stuff' but Joost and Saxton seem to have made it profitable to play with their food!

My daughter liked this book a lot and so do I, since everything she is reluctant to eat I say it is in the book and she then wants to try.

This book is fabulous. My 2yo son just loves it, and seems to enjoy the complexity of the images being both vehicles and fruits. The book is very well done, nice hard-cover, good quality paper, excellent pictures. Although not the core of the book, the text is also interesting and engaging. Overall, 100% recommended.
