| 20,000 Secrets of Tea by S. Whitworth (Texas) 5 Stars October 10, 2009 There is knowledge in this book that you should arm yourself with. Cold and flu season is right on top of us. I have always liked tea, but after reading this book, I now have a new respect for tea. This book was a nice fast read and I will keep it as a reference. | | Tea Time! by Nik (Brooklyn, N.Y. USA) 5 Stars September 30, 2009 I absolutely love this book. It is not complicated at all. Ms. Zak tells the history of Herbs and Tea, she gives us a desription of all the the Herbs she possibly can. Can there be anymore? She lists their specialties, benefits, cautions and more. This book is simple, to the point, written in a format that everyone will understand, you can not go wrong. It is exactly what I hoped for when I purchased it. I am so anxious to start my Herb collection for greater health. Thanks Ms. Zak.
| | Great book to learn about the healing & health benefits of herbal teas by R. Armstrong (New Port Richey, FL United States) 5 Stars September 20, 2009 I bought this book because I think teas are a little known and seldom used segment of herbal healing. Teas are easy to make & use & deliver big healing health benefits. I think it is important to get your bulk tea in organic or wildcrafted form such as in your yard or local area. Tea delivers the herbal agents to the bloodstream more quickly than other methods. I felt this book was very well priced and a superb value. I think it is the best and only book on teas that you will need to buy.
| | Good resource for tea info by Woman of Wisdom 4 Stars August 22, 2009 This book is very informative if you want to know more about teas. Its a good resource. Although to purchase many of the teas referenced you'll have to do your own online search.
| | Herbs in a nutshell by L. mcclellan 5 Stars August 18, 2009 Have had this book for a long time, gave it to a friend and repurchased another for myself. This book is just jam packed with helpful information about herbs, what they have been used for historically and what they are used for now, along with caveats about any possible adverse side effects with several of the herbs, which parts of the herbs are used, i.e. roots, leaves, bark, etc. I have referred to it over and over again through the years, so as to try and stay away from pharmaceutical remedies as much as possible.
