EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Product Description A groundbreaking, proven approach for successfully dia--gnosing and treating the mil-lions with hypothyroidism. Depression, weight gain, fatigue, headaches, memory lapses, hair loss-these are just some of the vague, often debilitating symptoms that plaguethe more than 13 million patients with hypothyroidism. The typical blood test for diagnosis is often inaccurate, leaving many to suffer through ineffective treatment. But now, there is a solution: Dr. Blanchard's groundbreaking program draws on emerging research, medical facts, and three decades of clinical experiences as an endocrinologist. This individualized program uses questionnaires and charts to help diagnose sufferers through symptoms, not only lab results. It then treats patients of all ages with the safe but little used T3 hormone in combination with the more common T4 hormone. Also including specific nutritional advice and alternative treatments, this is the one program for sufferers of hypothyrodism that really works! |

| must read by Maureen H. Wild (Whidbey Island, WA) 5 Stars November 05, 2009 This book contains valuable information that must be read by those who are seeking to get to the root cause of their health issues and not just treat symptoms. The body is an incredible design and the hormones are so incredibly powerful. This book gives insight that every person needs to know.
| | a bit disappointing by Christina L. Cannon (South Jersey coast) 3 Stars September 09, 2009 Found much of the information this book contained on internet sites.
The best thing that can be said is that I didn't have to search around
for hours. Main critism is that it does nothing to address those that are
pre- or post-surgery.
| | What he is refusing to tell you too... by L. Rae (New York) 1 Stars August 01, 2009 What this DR and probably many other DR's you have seen refuse to tell you
is that Natural thyoid replacement is available.
Using desiccated thyroid made from Porcine (pig) thyroid.
The treatment is safe effective and has been around for over 100 years.
If you are seeing a DR and on synthetic thyroid hormone replacement
and your DR
refuses to discuss Desiccated thyroid, brand name Armour, Nature-throid
and Westthroid
search until you finda DR who will.
Check out Stop the Thyroid Madness, A much better book that will explain the
benefits of Desiccated thyroid treatment.
If you have doubts check out the web site stopthethyroidmadness.com before you
buy the book.
You will be floored when you read everything your DR hasn't told you!
| | A poor choice for a book on hypothyroidism by Karl (Lawrence, KS USA) 2 Stars April 03, 2009 His 2% solution is based on what? His hunch? They thyroid makes about 20% T3 not 2% and releases it slowly - no mention of using SR T3.
After wasting my time reading this, I find near the back of the book (I would have stopped right there if it was in the front!) he goes full bore quack and recommends homeopathy which confirmed to me he is all ego and no science.
| | Great information- although a little repetitive by M. Brown 4 Stars October 27, 2008 So much great information; I have pages tagged and highlighted throughout the book. He takes complicated subject matter and breaks it down for the average person. I didnt feel like I needed a degree to read it like I do some other books on hypothyroidism. My only complaint is that it can be very repetitive at times.
