With gratitude to Dr. Nathaniel Tindel............ by Kathy De George (Long Island, NY) 5 Stars

It is with deep gratitude to Dr. Nathaniel Tindel that I take the time to write this review. Since my back trouble had remained dormant for a few years.........my hope was to not have immediate reason to read the book - but, alas.....about a week ago the back trouble reared it's ugly head again! I found the book to be very informative and helpful. Dr. Tindel has the unique ability to clearly describe important aspects of back-pain, alternative treatments prior to considering surgery, and the proper direction to take. He does this in 'lay-persons' language without talking down to the patient. Reading the book was helpful in discerning that I was taking the right path in my own healing process as well as giving me the language needed to describe the sort of pain I was having (acute radicular pain); where it radiated from; as well as re-emphasizing the core importance of exercise and healthy diet in the healing process (and in life in general!). All this in an easy to read, fun, writing style that made the book a quick read! "I've Got Your Back" is a book to keep in your own personal library for quick reference as well as one to share with friends and loved ones.

I found this book to be informative and well written. I especially liked the advice to do anything and everything possible other than surgery before considering surgery. This book will help you be proactive in your own back care.
