Are you looking for something useful? by Monty Rainey (New Braunfels, TX) 5 Stars

All too often, we pour through the pages of the latest book searching for something useful to give a real spark to our employees, only to come away feeling a little like we just read more of the same old thing. That's not the case with THE NO COMPLAINING RULE by Jon Gordon. In this book, you'll find actual information you can use to get your team on track with where they need to be to facilitate better morale, increased production and an all around better working environment. I'm in the early stages of implimenting the No Complaining Rule to my team, but already the results are dramatic. Yes, my constant complainers still have complaints, but now they are at least bringing their own workable solutions to the table. They're focusing on what we're doing right, not just on what might be wrong at that moment. When they help develop a solution, they have ownership of it, so when it is tried, if it fails, they continue looking since they can't really complain about their own ideas! This is the first thing I have ever read by Jon Gordon, but I will certainly invest the time into reading more of his work. I do a lot of marriage counseling (pre-marriage actually) and I can see a definate use for this book in relationship building as well. I highly recommend this book.

I am the Director of Marketing for a Rehab Hospital, we had been through a lot of change and and the negative energy had creeped in and engulfed us.I saw the book and the Title jumped up and hit me right between the eyes. I have to tell you that this book and "The Energy Bus" has transformed my Team into the Team they are meant to be. In 2008 we were named Marketing Team of The Year because of our heart. In a 6-8 month spand of time we had lost our spirit, mostly because I was leading them full of negativity and doubt. I got on the right track and then encouraged them to read the books and wow what a difference this has made. I shared the books with my boss and he shared them with our Senior Leadership. Who knows where this will take us!! Thank You for delivering these fundamental messages, you have helped transform us into what we are meant to be!

I was really pleased with this book. It opens up your eyes to all the complaining that you do and the people around you who are complaining - most importantly, it tells you what to do to change it.

This is an awesome book. My office staff went through it and gained some good insight from it. Also--I received this book only a few days after I ordered it. I am very pleased with Amazon. com :)

Enjoyed this book by always looking for a good read (Atlanta) 4 Stars

I enjoyed this book but some of it is a repeat of the Energy Bus book which I found absolutely fantastic. Maybe I was expecting to be "wow"ed like was was with Jon's first book. However, if you need that extra push after reading the Energy Book, I recommended it. It also is good to give to "a complainer" that you know that needs a kick in the pants to get them to stop complaining.
