I received my book earlier than estimated time. The book has been written and highlighted, however, when I choose this book I expected worse. I'm quite happy with the quick shipping although I'm ordering ground. Very professional.

Not so good... by Dana Barbour (Riverside, Ca. United States) 1 Stars
August 04, 2009
Well, I'm sorry to say my review of this product is "not so good", because I never received what I purchased. I have tried to contact the seller, with no response. I have had to open a claim with Amazon's A-Z Guarantee. I have not heard anything on the matter yet, but hope this will be resolved soon. This is the only time I have had a problem with an Amazon purchase. I have bought many items over the past few years, with very safisfied service. Unfortunately, this one didn't go so well. End note: The one star is only because I could not submit without any rating.

Interesting and Informative by Gwendolen Guthrie 4 Stars
August 02, 2009
Nutrition:Concepts and Controversies has clear wording and extensive descriptions for most of it's subjects. It explains subjects in a way that is interesting and not just scientific. There are also controversy sections at the end of each chapter which give you both sides of current health arguments. This book is very helpful outside of class too because there are many charts such as the DRI, UL and BMI that you can use the determine if you are getting adequate nutrients.
