Not quite what I expected by S. I. Churchill (Michigan) 3 Stars
November 21, 2009
I was hoping for a primer on how to incorporate the Mediterranean Diet into my life. This book was more about cooking specific mediterranean recipes/food. I wanted to know how to incorporate everyday foods into a healthy program "based" on the Mediterranean Diet. There is nothing wrong with this book, it just wasn't what I was looking for and consequently, is not getting much use. :-(

I seen this book on TV and ordered it, BUT I never got it. Ordered It thru Amazon from a company called "Bargainsdepatched", I was charged right away, never received the book. Thanks to Amazon I got a credit on my charge, I have never had problems ordering anything thru Amazon before, and I will order from them again but not "BARGAINSDEPATCHED" So I don't have any idea if the cook book is good or not.

I am not too well satisfied with this book. A lot of the recipes are all made with the basic ingredients. Was looking for other options but did not find them.

Many of the ingredients are not something you would find at a local grocery store. Recipes were not simple.
