EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Product Description My intent in writing this guide is to give others, like you, the benefit of my own experience and to make sure that the pain is not compounded by uncertainty, unawareness, ignorance or lack of information. Yes, this is a tragic event, one that none of us would wish on our worst enemies. Yet, if anything can help make it a little better, it is the certainty of knowing exactly what we are going through, the knowledge of what to expect and the tools to teach us how to cope. For those who have suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage, Surviving Miscarriage helps you find the compassionate support you so desperately need. Florida psychologist Stacey McLaughlin survived two miscarriages in one year—and thankfully discovered the powerful secret to lasting inner healing. McLaughlin addresses the variety of emotions a woman experiences after a miscarriage and focuses on how to mend your soul. With her unique and simple thirty-day plan, you’ll be gently guided through meaningful steps to help you banish undeserved shame, embrace comforting emotional recovery, and move forward with confident hope for your future. |

| Not exactly what I was looking for by Jennifer C. Hartmann (Boston, MA United States) 2 Stars February 24, 2008 I was amazed how very few choices you have if you are looking for books to help with emotional support during such a lose. I found Grieving the Child I never Knew much better since I was looking for something in a Christian format.
| | This book helped me satisfy my need for information by Uschi (NJ) 5 Stars April 06, 2007 After dealing with infertility and than a miscarriage at 14 weeks, I needed answers. This book did give me the answers I needed (because there are none), but it helped me to realize that I am not the only one who feels this way. It was written in simple terms, so it was easy to read. I actually finished it in a couple of hours.
| | An Excellant Book by Shari (Ohio) 5 Stars May 31, 2006 I wish I had bought this book after I suffered my first miscarriage. I have read several miscarriage books and this one is by far the best. Its easy to read, it touches on all the emotions you experience with a miscarriage, and I highly recommend it for anyone who has suffered a miscarriage or knows someone who has suffered a miscarriage.
| | Peace of Mind by integrity matters (Michigan) 5 Stars October 16, 2005 I wish I'd had this book the day I miscarried. It was reassuring to read about and relate to someone else's experience. I felt so alone. I plan to share this book with other women surviving a miscarriage.
