Malpractice by Cynthia Cartwright (San Diego, CA) 5 Stars

Malpractice This book held my attention from beginning to end. It was fast reading and very enjoyable. It also gave some insight into a world that I am not that acquainted with. Though it is fiction, considering the background of one of the authors, I could not help but wonder how much of it may be based on some fact. This book is must read for everyone. I can't wait for the sequel.

Malpractice is a non-stop legal thriller that provides wonderful insight into the inner workings of the legal system (in Chicago and nationwide). I can't wait for December of 2009 to learn more about Chris' and Jackson's exploits.

A thrilling confluence of medicine, law and politics that gains momentum and won't let you down.

Malpractice and Chicago Politics Blended by L. Berlin 5 Stars
April 03, 2009
Although this book is technically fiction, one can't help think that as we read the characters and personalities that are developed by the authors, there are semblances to real people in Chicago. As for the events that are described, while they are created rather than recollected, nonetheless if some of these things haven't happened, they could happen one day. There have been many books dealing with lawyers, judges, and politics in Chicago, and others that deal with malpractice, but this book blends it all together. It's a riveting story. Authors Taxman and Robbins have created a book that grabs your attention on page one, and holds it until the last colorful page is read. I loved it! I can't wait until the sequel comes out.

Review of Malpractice by James Ackerman 5 Stars

Great book. I can't recommend it enough. If you like Grisham you will love Taxman. The book keeps you one the edge of your seat. While it is fiction, it sounds like real Illinois politics. Rod Blagojevich would have been proud of the politicians, judges and lawyers in the book. The protagonist is a doctor/lawyer, just like the author. When reading it you wonder how much of the main character is in Taxman. Jim Ackerman
