| Good book for those with yeast allergies by Mrs. Ed (TX) 5 Stars September 26, 2009 My ELISA food allergy panel showed my bakers yeast antibodies were still sky high, after a year of avoiding bakers yeast. It was recommended that I go on an anti-yeast diet. I ordered almost every yeast book out there but liked this one the best. The recipes were for real food and the information was interesting.
| | Great book by Carol Sampson (Anderson, MO United States) 5 Stars August 16, 2009 This is a wonderful book with lots of good information & recipes. Good healthy meals for everyone.
| | great useful cookbook & guide to fellow sufferers by soda pop (NY United States) 5 Stars May 03, 2009 I have to say I love this book-- of all the many books and cookbooks I have now read about the anti-candida yeast, this one is my favorite. It is simple and easy to use, I love that I get a guide to the foods I can and can't eat right up front, a list one can copy & take to the grocery store, some of the receipes I've tried are really delicious; I was able to take the test at the front of the book & see if I was really a candidate etc.
This book says slightly different things than for instance Dr Crook's famous book or others I have found, but I find these very sensible and clear-cut guidelines. Nothing has helped me as much as this diet, even though I am really using it more as a detoxifying diet than anti-yeast. I have recommended it to almost everyone I know. It is a great guide and tool and I feel as if the author is holding my hand through the process of trying to figure out what I can safely eat without difficulties. For me, the elimination of sugar is key, though I can finally eat a little fruit without problems.
| | Very helpful by Adam Rose (Portland, OR) 5 Stars March 18, 2009 This book has a nice introductory section giving some background about candida. Within the intro is a comprehensive questionnaire to help you determine how severe your problem is. The recipes will be helpful if you are not well educated about how to eat properly. If that is the case, then buy this book. If you have studied raw and macrobiotic foods, you can probably skip this book.
| | Candida Albican Yeast-Free Cookbook, by L. Dahl (NC Mtns) 5 Stars January 08, 2009 Talk about helpful and also a book with great recipes. A must have for anyone dealing with Candida. One of two very helpful books that I have
used since getting serious about getting rid of my Candida
