CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 5.0 based on 2 reviews)
| Caucasian review of the darker world by Amit Shetty (sydney australia) 5 Stars April 20, 2005 Well having qualified in India and then now working in Australia as an emergency medic, this book I would consider as an bible for the general physician to not only gain an insight into the topic but also for the day to day use in temperate practice (IN THIS AGE OF SHRINKING DISTANCES). It is funny not to find a single book of tropical origin (atleast I dont know of one) which gives such an comprehensive review of all the diseases that afflict the tropics.
| | Excellent refrernce for tropical diseases by Gary Smith (Broken Hill, NSW Australia) 5 Stars June 10, 2000 The book in question contains all of the information necessary in the pursuit of tropical medicine. However a seperate atlas would be handy.
