EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Product Description This New Edition delivers, in a straightforward manner, all of the information readers need to understand and interpret electrodiagnostic studies. It emphasizes clinical/neurophysiological correlations and uses a practical, hands-on, interactive approach throughout. With new chapters on electrical safety and the use of EMG in the ICU—and the inclusion of a bonus DVD with over 75 EMG waveforms—this resource continues to be the single source to consult for guidance on the clinical and electrophysiological evaluation of disorders of the peripheral nervous system. * Features case studies at the end of each chapter. * Provides a wealth of tables that summarize guidelines for the evaluation of most neuromuscular disorders as well as tables that highlight the results of nerve conduction studies and the electromyography for that particular patient. * Provides clear, original photographs that emphasize correct needle placement. |

| easy to read and graspt the main concepts and application by awan (usa) 5 Stars February 27, 2009 This is an excelent book not only for the beginner but also for the practicing neurophysiologist.
Residents and fellows can find the style that suits their level of learning.
| | Great text for residents, but not detailed enough for fellows by JHC 4 Stars December 29, 2008 I am currently a neurophysiology fellow and while this is a very readable text, I cannot rely on this solely. As a neurology resident or PMR resident, this will suffice. As a neuromuscular or neurophysiology specialist, supplement it with another text, like Dumitru or Katirji.
| | EMG - a classic by Stephen F. Knox 5 Stars October 25, 2008 A book written by great teachers and authors. A classic and should be part of every emgers library.
| | Excellent EMG Textbook! by Mehras Akhavan (LA, CA) 5 Stars March 11, 2007 This book is amazing! Extremely well written, comprehensive and the best textbook in the field of PM&R/Electrodiagnostic study. I highly recommend it!
| | Excellent Learning Resource by Hasan Askari (USA) 5 Stars January 20, 2007 I really like this book. It teaches EMG/NCS in a step by step manner and helps the reader from scratch. 2 CD-s that come with it are a great resource.
I recommend it to every one in the EMG/NCS buisness.
