It is simple and easy to follow for anyone who desires spiritual understanding, and combined with the Seven Concepts that are absolute gems. I have read my share of spiritual books in the past and found that most of these basically tell you the same. However, I have to say that I found some pearls of widsom in The Big Lie.
Everyone wants to be happy - but for most of us, this darn happiness eludes us. However, the Big Lie demystifies it for us. Many of us seem to be under the impression that we have to practically stand on our heads in order to get to some spiritual comfort zone - but author Sanderon breaks it down to easily manageable points.
In his book The Big Lie, Sanderson debunks much of what we have heard preached to us in the past. One of the important aspects is that this book takes a spiritual look at god and our relationship with god and does not take a religious approach to it. He also empowers us to find our Spiritual Coach Program - which includes 7 basic concepts and 7 basic strategies.
Sanderson appears to have been practicing (for a long time) what he preaches and, as mentioned, there are some very interesting points made in this book.
If you are not really sure where you are heading, it might be worth it to pick up this book to get a little more clarity.

We live in a society where there is a belief that to be happy one must achieve career and material success. In his book, The Big Lie, author Stan Sanderson asserts that "the problem is that it doesn't work. It never has, and it never will. And the reason that it doesn't work is that happiness is not the by-product of the acquisition of anything. We already have it! Our Creator endowed us with perfect joy, happiness, and freedom in the beginning, which we have somehow forgotten."
In The Big Lie, Sanderson introduces readers to the Spiritual Coach Program, which teaches that true happiness can only be experienced through discovering who you really are, and developing a personal relationship with the God of your understanding.
Using universal spiritual themes rather that religious doctrine or theory, Sanderson outlines and explains his seven concepts and seven strategies that integrate material success with spiritual awareness. Concepts include: acknowledging the Big Lie and debunking it; embracing the God Thing in ones life; benefits of the Power Shift; recognizing undesirable behavior patterns through the Renovation Process; finding forgiveness in the Release Factor; and discovering the joy of living the 200 Percent Life (100 percent material and a 100 percent spiritual).
Sanderson explains how the seven strategies are used to help personalize the concepts.
