| Critical for the IBCLC exam by K. Tier (San Francisco Bay Area) 5 Stars October 25, 2009 I received my pre-ordered copy of the 4th edition a little over a month before I sat for the IBCLC exam for the first time in July 2009. I worked hard to read it cover to cover for the exam, generally reading one chapter per day. I loved it and I truly believe it was critical to my passing of the exam (84%). It includes about 150 additional pages over the 3rd edition. I also appreciated the fact that the evidence-based research was very recent, including information that came out in December 2008. Highly recommended!
