It's kind of thick if you have a lot of things to put in your pockets but the print is not too small and is well organized.

Nicely organized and very useful. Broken down both by organ system and diagnosis with extra information in the back on specific antibiotics....but, beware old editions of this handbook. Antibiotic therapy changes rapidly, along with microbial resistence patterns. Make sure you are getting the newest version of this handbook available.

This is an excellent pocket guide, useful world-wide. Covers antibiotic essentials, as of 2002! Includes SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES, GENITOURINARY TRACT, SKIN & SOFT TISSUE, GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT, LOWER RESPIRATORY TRACT, SEPSIS/SEPTIC SHOCK, HEENT, CARDIOVASCULAR, TOXIN-MEDIATED (toxic shock, botulism, tetanus, diphtheria), and CNS (meningitis, non-bacterial/chronic meningitis, encephalitis, brain abscess, subdural empyema), PARASITES/FUNGI/UNUSUAL ORGANISMS, HIV INFECTION, ANTIBIOTIC PROPHYLAXIS AND IMMUNIZATIONS, DRUG SUMMARIES.
