EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Product Description Fundamentals of Sectional Anatomy: An Imaging Approach incorporates the best features of every book currently available on this topic and adds some additional features making it user friendly. A complete anatomical review is included for each chapter, utilizing numerous line drawings and putting all key words in bold. The meaning for all words in bold is included in the glossary. The key feature is the fact that two complete sets of images are included for each section and each image is fully labeled, expediting the learning process. This approach provides the individual with a realistic exposure to sectional images and provides the opportunity for virtually all anatomy discussed to be identified on the images. The repetition reinforces the assimilation of material. Associated with each image is text permitting the user to self-teach. Review questions are included at the end of each chapter. Unique features are a separate chapter on facial bones and sinuses and the fact that both male and female pelvic images are included in the chapter on the pelvis. |
CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.5 based on 4 reviews)
| Anatomy by Susan (York, SC) 5 Stars October 07, 2008 This book was very helpful. The text was easy to read, the labels were good and the pictures were excellant. I've loaned it to a co-worker and told her to make sure I get it back. It's definitely a keeper.
| | Good but not great by Gene Edward Youngblood (Texas) 4 Stars January 09, 2008 I bought this book to study for the CT registry. I was not sure if it covered all the anatomy that may be asked on the registry. When i was in the radiography program, we studied in detail every bone and every part of that bone. An example of this book is when talking about facial bones, it simply states mandible. It does not mention ramus, mandibular fossa, symphysis ect... This makes it easier to learn of course by not have alot of small detailed anatomy to memorize but i'm not sure that this is a good thing. Also, it could include longer tests, and maybe some diagram labeling.
| | helpful book by Gay Bergeron 4 Stars May 07, 2007 This is a very useful book for CT/MRI Technologists. The images are current and the labeling of anatomy is more detailed than most cross sectional books for Technologist. It is very helpful for Neuro anatomy, but could use additional labeling.
