Hydrogen will be created on site or transported in liquid or pressurized gas to the refueling station.
Toyota has a concept car called the Fine-X. The fine-X is powered by hydrogen fuel cells. Stack fuel cells provide the electrical power and use a alloy catalyst requiring fewer precious metals. Fine X has four wheel independant steering system allowing turn on a dime. The fine X is a four passenger car. The front passenger seat pivots allowing the passenger to standup and walk away from the vehicle. The car will emit zero CO2 emissions.
