Perfect for my daughter! by D. Kowalski (Rochester MI) 5 Stars

This is a great book. I just read it and am planning to read it together with my 10-year old daughter. This was recommended to me by a friend as a "timeless" book to learn about a girl's/woman's body. It's a straightforward, educational way to teach your daughter about the changes she will be (or is already) going through. I highly recommend it.

The book itself is a really good book. I bought it for my daughter. She said that she is learnig alot. She is only 10 but is starting to get curious about things. This is the best book I've seen for little girls. Give them the book to read and as they read it, they will ask you questions. It is alot easier this way. I have an older daughter that is 22 and her dad got this book for her and she loved it.

I bought this book for my niece and I wanted to read it before mailing it to her and my sister-in-law. I wished I had a book like this when I was growing up. I love all the details and pictures that goes with every experience. This is an amazing book and I wish every child at the proper age could learn from it. Thank you Karen Gravelle.

"The Period Book" is an excellent resource for young girls. The book has very clear and complete information about menstruation, and how to use pads, tampons, etc. It is written in terms that are simple and has illustrations that help clarify. This book helps lower anxiety by telling young girls what to expect. It is a wonderfully helpful little book to which girls can continue to refer.
