Product Description
With universal appeal (everyone poops, after all), this witty, illustrated description of over two dozen dookies (each with a medical explanation written by a doctor) details what one can learn about health and well-being by studying what's in the bowl. A floater? It's probably due to a buildup of gas. Now think back on last night's dinner, a burrito perhaps? . . .All the greatest hits are here: The Log Jam, The Glass Shard, The Deja Poo, The Hanging Chad . . . the list goes on. Sidebars, trivia, over 60 euphemisms for number 2, and unusual case histories all make this the ultimate bathroom reader. Who knew you could learn so much from your poo?

I got this book as a gift. It made me laugh hysterically. I wound up buying several and gave as gifts--everyone has loved it. Great laughs about stuff we all do. Great to give as a gift with its sister book, What is My Pee Telling Me.

This little book is informative and fun. It tells you all about what is happening at the end of the food cycle in a humorous manner; I would recommend it for all ages who can read.

Short, Funny, and Amazingly detailed by M. Lai 5 Stars

This is one of the only books on the topic, that treats it with the seriousness and humor that it deserves. If you are remotely considering this book, please do purchase it. It is very small and short, but it has everything you probably are asking yourself about. Oddly enough I have referenced this book many more times than I would have thought possible or necessary. Though this seems something that was written primarily for the humor section, it's interesting to note that it is actually well researched, written by an MBA and Dr who met at school at Dartmouth and went on to Stanford.

Ok, I won't re-hash everyone else's awesome reviews. Instead, I leave you with advice, be sitting on the toilet while reading this. It is completely likely that pee or poo or something will be coming out of you because you're laughing so hard!

Is "The Origin of Feces" a Darwinian concern? Perhaps not, but it is the title to the preface of this tongue-in-cheek and unexpectedly revealing exploration of human behavior by the webmaster behind the popular PoopReport.com.

This book is not a history of poop, but a study of today. Its goal is to understand how poop affects us, how we view it, and why; to appreciate its impact from the moment it slides out of our anal sphincters to the moment it enters the sewage treatment...
