CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 5.0 based on 1 review)
| Excellent neurosurgical atlas by operculum (Los Angeles) 5 Stars February 08, 2007 I am a neurosurgery resident and I have found that this atlas is superb. When deciding which atlas to buy, there are many factors to take into consideration (price, readability, breadth, depth, etc...). I believe that this book (and it's spine counterpart) really surpass Schmidek's book and Kempe's book in that regard. The pictures of key aspects of the operation are bountiful and in color. The text is cogent and serves its purpose well. The information is current and well referenced. The range of topics is expansive and the depth is just right (after all, the purpose of an atlas is to learn how to do the operation, leave the "fluff" to a series like youman's). As a resident early in my training, I recommend this book. I have found it extremely helpful. I don't own many neurosurgery books right now, but this was my best purchase thusfar.
