This is a lovely little book most suited for people who like to practice Hoodoo - Hoodoo is not associated with any religion per se, and practitioners of Hoodoo may belong to any religion or none at all. While Hoodoo magick contains folk spells intended to help you harness the forces of nature to improve your life, you may also look upon Hoodoo as a tool for programming the subconscious mind. Subconscious mind communicates through the language of symbols, and using candles, oils and incense and other tools helps the person to more vividly subjectively experience the desired outcome, and it may be particularly helpful for people who have a challenge visualizing, as the purpose of the ritual is to help you to engage as many of your senses as possible.
This charming book contains simple spells for cleansing your home of any adverse energies, for attracting love and wealth into your life, for bringing about healing, for spiritual strength, good luck, for stopping gossip, and many others. It also provides brief information on different color correspondences, the use of gems, herbs, how to make some basic oil and incense formulas, as well as washes, how to create gris gris bags, how to work with magic lamps, and prayers to different saints.

Very informative book. Simple and to the point. The organization of this book is great and makes it easy to use. A very good book for beginners in magic. I recommend this book to anyone wanting to start your studies in magic.

I found this book by accident, just flipped through a few pages and found out within about a minute I was definitely purchasing it. I like the way it is organized, you can read it much easier than most witchcraft books. And I definitely love the fact it has a lot of spells concerned with Hoodoo. As for the ingredients they are a bit rare but I found a website [...] that sells many different and numerous kinds of herbs. Overall, I definitely recommend buying this book.
