Arrived 2 weeks late by K. Fichtel 2 Stars

The book arrived two weeks after the estimated arrival, and so I missed 2 weeks of valuable study time with it. I'm never buying used books on Amazon again.

Good NeuroScience Book by BioGeek247 (PA) 4 Stars
September 04, 2009
This book is being used for one of my grad classes that I am taking with an undergrad class. It is very understandable, and the figures are of great help to the text. Some of it does get into great detail, and other sections need to be explained with more detail, but other than that, it's an excellent book. It is an interesting read for Neuroscience. The book also came with a DVD used for tutorials, as well as visuals for the brain. It's very helpful and very interesting.

Solid book by W. Chew 5 Stars

I bought this for a class, and in fact, I finished reading the entire book. I would say it is quite clear in relating possibly difficult subjects, and the order is logical. The topics I felt it was most successful in are: synaptic plasticity and sensory systems. For cognitive neuroscience, this particular book was not as detailed as the other book by the same author, which deals specifically with that field. Some minor typographical errors in this book, but about 10 out of the entire text is not bad.
