| Water Gardening Reference by MJC (Orlando, Florida United States) 5 Stars August 13, 2008 Excellent book. I have many water gardening books, but this one is one of my favorites. It has detailed descriptions of many different types of aquatic plants along with color photos.
| | pond plants by Joe Zee 4 Stars June 23, 2008 Very complete source, but extensive use of latin names made it somewhat difficult to use.
| | Beautiful Book by Regina Schneider (Sebastian, FL) 4 Stars December 21, 2007 I purchased this book for my son who is attending college to be a Landscape Architect. He was interested in learning more about water plants as we live in the south and there is a lot of time to enjoy a water garden. The book is BEAUTIFUL. It has everything you would need to know to make your water garden more user friendly. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in making a home resemble an oasis...
| | Excellent resource for selection and maintenance of pond plants by E. Boydstun (Idaho) 5 Stars July 27, 2007 I have had a pond for 30+ years. This is one of the best and most detailed resouces that I have come across. It is one of the few that details the type of waterlily corms that each variety has. This is extremely helpful in identifying plants that have spread naturally and are not blooming. Great photographs. Uses both common names and scientific names.
| | A Water Garden Must by J. Lane (Madison, WI USA) 5 Stars July 08, 2007 I love this book. I am new to the pond world and have found my passion. This book is the water gardener's bible. It is extensive in the coverage of all water plants and gives practical information on their care. It is suitable to ponds in any climate. Also, photos are lovely and are great for plant identification.
