CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 5.0 based on 3 reviews)
| Succinct and valuable book by D. R. Oswald 5 Stars May 30, 2007 I'd recommend this book for anyone ranging from students to the working class. Am currently a student and was very pleasantly surprised to find valuable nuggets of information inside the book. Covers thermodynamics, fluid, vibration, heat transfer and probably just about anything a mechanical engineer/engineering student wants to know about.
| | A quick reference to solve everyday problems in Mechanical Engineering by David De Sousa 5 Stars July 11, 2006 Practical solutions for mechanical engineers should have been the title of this book. The book is full of fundamental information, principles, quick calculations methods, illustrations, and diagrams, that will save the industrial practitioner valuable time.
If you travel for work always take this handy reference with you. I believe this book will also be useful for the student of Mechanical Engineering.
I own this book, as well as Carl. Branan "Rules of Thumb for Chemical Engineers". If you work in the process industries, these two books will proof to be an invaluable aid to analyze and solve operational problems that affect process equipment performance.
| | Mechanical solutions 5 Stars March 24, 2000 A great and easy book to find out mechnical solutions and definitions for the daily work of an engineer
