I had a TKA and was concerned about my recovery. Why was my knee still so stiff and sore? I was going to physical therapy but the therapists didn't have the answers I was looking for. Online for hours at a time I ran into this book and ordered it. I found what I needed. The Dr. who wrote this book had the surgery himself and has all the answers and exercises. I learned that I'm fine, this rehab is harder than I thought and I have to stick with it. I read it every night.

I am 12 weeks plus post surgery for a total knee replacement. I wish I had had this book long before my surgery. This book takes you literally step by step and day by day thru this procedure. This book also shows all exercises for physical therapy and explains all aspects in plain, very understandable language. I would insist anyone facing this kind of surgery get this book several weeks before their surgery.

Must have for those intending to have a knee replacement. Essential reading before the operation so pre op exercises can be done. Invaluable advice for after the operation giving all the different symptoms and problems that can arise. Very helpful. We bought the book after the operation which was a shame but still incredibly helpful - the bible for knee replacement operations!!
