| | Comprehensive overview by Milwaukee Brewer Fan (Madison, WI) 4 Stars April 07, 2008 This is a good book if you are newly diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. I purchased it about 4 months after my diagnosis so much of the information I had already found through other sources. There is a comprehensive discussion of the various medications used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, interesting real life perspectives from fellow patients, and a well detailed exercise section.
| | The Arthritis Foundation's Guide to Good Living with Rheumatoid Arthritis, 3rd Edition by Jan S (Usa) 5 Stars March 08, 2007 Excellent up to date information.
| | Great Information! by Virginia Martin (Charleston, WV) 5 Stars August 21, 2006 This book is perfect for anyone who wants to learn about Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). It explains, in very good detail, the process a person who is diagnosed with RA will go through. It explains medically what is happening; how to understand the "medical team" that you will have; what treatments exist and their most common side-effects; and coping skills. Anyone who has recently been diagnosed with RA should definitely read this book. Anyone who is supporting a person with RA would also benefit from reading this book. I would highly recommend it.
