Following a healthful plant based diet can be challenging for the cook. This cookbook makes it much easier! Wheat meat (gluten) can provide a variety of tasty dishes that are easy to make and family-pleasing. There are directions for making gluten from flour and also a quick method of making it with VITAL GLUTEN flour. The seasons for the gluten are worth the price of the book! The chicken-like seasoning and the beef-like seasoning are favorites of mine. You can even use them to season soaked, ground wheat to make a veggie burger. A valued resource in my kitchen. 5 stars. Book was shipped promptly.

This book is really amazing. I love all the varied recipes that shes tried and tested. She makes sure to include vegetarian, vegan and other specialty diet tips. Valuable for the information and recipes even if you don't try the wheat meat. Will be something that won't often get dusty on my shelves!

I love to mill my own flours, and this book gives you so many things to do with them! But just one tip on rolling out dough for bread and rolls was worth the price of the whole book. I saw her DVD before I got the book and just had to have the book. This is one I will "mine for gold" for a long time. Rich!
