Love it by DC (Miami, FL) 5 Stars

Awesome book. You can't get more detail anywhere else. Walks you through, step by step. The author also has a great sense of humor, so it makes it quite the easy read.

Easy way to obtain CMEs with good review by Julia Andrews (Peoria, Illinois) 4 Stars

Having been an RVT for nearly 25 years I'm always interested in maintaining my ARDMS creditionals in a painless, worthwhile, not time intensive method. This book was the answer. However, when I purchased it 16CME's were available via the ARDMS. When the certificate came back only 12 CME's were awarded. Why? I called and asked the publishers. ARDMS reduced the number. Thankfully, I didn't put all my eggs in one basket and had the necessary CME's.

Good Study Book by Shannon (Central Arkansas) 4 Stars

I have been a student in the sonography program at UAMS for over a year now and have 2 semesters left and I have to say this is the first book I have bought that I will look at again after the registary is over. I like that it is written in such a laid back tone that I read it with out a dictionary. I hope Ridgway writes more books that students can read.

Superb resource and I would agree with Don's own self review except for my two nits: First, it needs a better binding than the horrendous glue job that the Davies' printer provides. The pages fall out quickly. Second, we need an update edition which rearranges the illustrations and plates to be more useful. This would be an enormous improvement for learning and using the text "on the job". Perhaps, if it was printed with a quality ring-type (or smyth-sewn) binding with more color plates and illustrations that are facing on opposite pages to the relevant text when opened flat, then both of my requests for improving this great resource for vascular technologists would be met.
