Echo board review by GG (Philadelphia ,PA) 4 Stars

Dr Edelmann's book has been an excellent review book for Ultrasound physics so far. He is able to make a tedious subject ridiculously simple. He also grants access to his website to practice questions. I would make sure to buy the third edition though.

Close but no cigar by Grampa Ocean 2 Stars

I think it was a good attempt at presenting a subject that can be complicated, but simplifying it too much isn't the way to go. Too often a point is presented and then not developed so one is left hanging. The discussions on some of the sound parameters are also presented backwards in terms of dependent vs independent variables. There are some other points that just flat out don't make sense. I ended up relying on other texts and online resources.

Understanding Ultrasound Physics: Fundamentals and Exam Review by Jeddy E. West (Miami, Florida) 5 Stars

Understanding Ultrasound Physics is a real easy book to comprehend especially for those who want to brush up on there physics skills. I recommend this book to others who are in this line of work like Ultrasound Tech or Sonographer. The questions thru the book and in the back will make it much easier to pass my ARDMS exam concerning sonography.

Passed the SPI with a 90% by Anne Godbold 5 Stars

I passed the SPI test the first time just using this book. If you know this book forward and backward you will have no problem passing the test. The questions in the back are great and are very similar to the ARDMS SPI questions.
