EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Product Description Here is everything you need to know about childhood immunization---most of which the medical profession fails to tell you. In this book, health-research writer Jamie Murphy explains what vaccines are, how they are made, what little-known toxic chemicals are used in their production, and how frequently the DPT vaccine causes local, systemic, and neurological reactions and deaths in infants and children. You will learn how our natural immunity protects us from disease and that breast-milk is an infant's best protection. Parents will also benefit from learning the simple steps they can take to successfully avoid immunization for their children. Childhood immunization is one of the most critical health issues that parents face. What Every Parent Should Know about Childhood Immunization will help you face it intelligently. |
CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.5 based on 5 reviews)
| Timeless, informative book for the parent-to-be by Ingri L. Cassel (Spirit Lake, Idaho) 5 Stars November 14, 2008 Jamie Murphy has done an excellent job covering the essence of the vaccine debate, from how vaccines are made and their noxious ingredients to the history of this barbaric procedure and why it continues to this day when blood letting and other deadly medical procedures of the past have been discontinued. One of the more valuable aspects of the book is his coverage of the effect of the measles vaccine on disease incidence and the change from the killed virus vaccine to the live virus vaccine used today in combination with mumps and rubella. It is a valuable peek into history that is not summarized so well elsewhere. Being well-footnoted and indexed makes this important book great for referencing specifics when sharing this information with others.
| | Very one sided. by Zonya Gingrich (Queens, New York) 2 Stars October 14, 2008 I felt that Murphy doesn't even try to be balanced. He uses words like "witches brew" and "cauldron" to conjure negative images. Also, the book is somewhat outdated, even though this last reprint was 2005. The most recent information I saw was 1989, and he gives facts that are outdated, including that there is no chickenpox vaccine. Now, all this is coming from a person who is skeptical about vaccines. I just didn't find the book tasteful, or all that helpful. Much better is "The Baccine Book" by Robert W. Sears. He gives facts, but helps you to come to your own decision regarding each individual vaccine rather than making blanket statements about all vaccines.
| | Excellent Resource for parents, a Must Read!" by Advanced Massage Therapy Perry (Brookline, MA) 5 Stars April 22, 2007 "James Murphy is an excellent resource / counselor for parents in need of information on infant vaccination. In his book "What Every Parent Should Know About Childhood Immunization' he presents a knowledgable unbiased account of the health dangers of vaccination. A must read!" Issues in D.
| | what everyparent should know... by susie white (newport news, va United States) 5 Stars February 09, 2001 When I was pregnant with my first baby I knew that I didn't want to immunize any of my children. Up until I read this book I had really no "proof" that my confictions were correct. Thanks to this book, I began a serious investigation into immunizations. I now have tangible info to share with pro-vaccine parents. It only takes one light in a dark world to bring truth!
| | Excellent resource for all Parents,Educators,Doctors! 5 Stars August 11, 1999 The whole immunization issue is so one sided. This book finally gives the other perspective, in an easy to read format. From an educator, and parent's standpoint the book is convincing that immunizing your child is not the only way. No one can force you to immunize your child if you have a belief it's not right. Read this book and finally become educated, confident and informed!
