The best I can be by Diane Marra (Springfield, VA) 4 Stars

This is a wonderful book for both the mom's to read about their FAS kids and the kids to read to feel like someone else walks in their shoes. I have 3 adopted girls from Ukraine, and they all have FAS, PTSD, Learning disabilities, and depression. It made me sad for all these helpless children, to have been damaged before they were born. God does love them and this book helps us understand their thinking, their behavior issues and how to love them as they are.

This was the book with answers to questions we had! I have been reading it to my daughter with ARND/FASD. She knows now she can make it because Liz has! You would of thought she wrote the book about her! This book is highly reccomended by our family!

I recently began working with families with children with FASD and this book has been helpful for me to "hear" the child better. I also love the pages of helpful resources in the back. I am now lending it to some of the parents I work with so they can "hear" their children better. Very inspiring.

This is a fabulous book, very informative and encouraging! by Leslie R. Brown (Ontario, Canada) 5 Stars

My teenage daughter wanted to know more about how her cousins (three with full FAS) saw the world. Clearly understandable and relevant to teens, she thought the book was excellent and full of good information.
