| Great for all ages and large groups by R.E. Dawn (Wisconsin) 5 Stars September 25, 2009 This book has great activities for young children to old adults. It's great for any type of group, small or large. I've used activities in this book for family therapy and elementary classroom settings. I highly recommend it for building positive attitudes and feelings in all types of people.
| | Good Tool for anyone working with Children by Malcolm Joseph (Boston, MA, USA) 5 Stars June 01, 2009 I am the type of person who loves to create cirriculum for children. As a social worker, I love gathering books like these, because it is instant group therapy/ group cirriculum right at your finger tips. I love how organized the book is. It breaks in down into very interesting and specific categories. The activities are described well and with rationale for each activities given, so that you can determine the appropriateness for your kids. For the clinically struggling children to the most stablized children, you will find a way to fanagle, like I did, activities to fit your and your childrens goals. I found a way to turn a fun genomap activity with candy mentioned in the book into a solution-focused, narrative, introductory parent group. I would've never thought of it without some inspiration from this book. Kudos.

| | Great resource for many ages by Jill Osborne 5 Stars February 13, 2009 I love this book for groups. I have found it to have a lot of fun activities, especially for teens. I have also used it with adults with severe mental illness, and children. I think many therapists, group leaders, and even youth groups will find this book an asset to their collection of group activities. It also fits many populations and the activities are versatile. I use it over and over again.
