EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Product Description A groundbreaking expose that tells the truth about soy that scientists know but that the soy industry has tried to suppress. Soy is not a health food, does not prevent disease and has not even been proven safe.--Epidemiological, clinical and laboratory studies link soy to malnutrition, digestive problems, thyroid dysfunction, cognitive decline, reproductive disorders, even heart disease and cancer. |

| Must read--get the TRUTH about soy. by Rebecca (USA) 5 Stars September 16, 2009 Soy is NOT A HEALTH FOOD AND IT IS NOT HEALTHY FOR YOU. Daniel provides myriad evidence (in the context of human nutritional needs and how nutrients are processed in the human body) throughout her book why this is the case.
| | A must-read for vegans and everyone else by Linder220 (Visalia, Calif.) 5 Stars June 16, 2009 Well written and packed with proof that not everything soy is good for us. If you use soy products, this is a must read. As someone who has suffered from estrogen dominance since puberty (fibroid tumors, fibromyalgia, among other things caused or at least exacerbated by this condition), I found this book to be a very helpful "push" to get me to eliminate the "bad" soy from my diet and keep the good soy.
| | a MUST have for all personal libraries by Paul Holtman 5 Stars February 24, 2009 OMG you so need to read this book, SOY is in everything and is so damaging, i was totally shocked.
| | The Whole Soy Story by Ervin C. Hoath (Cranbrook B. C. Canada) 5 Stars February 14, 2009 This book is a must read.I find it incredable how we can be so easily dupped into unhealthy things.
I have never been a fan of soy anyway. I did not know how many products had some form of soy in it.
Thank goodness that there are books like these out there for people to read and see how corp. are effecting your health for the almighty dollar.
If you haven't read it yet get it for your health.
| | Wow by Love2Read (Campbell, CA) 1 Stars July 30, 2008 The meat and dairy industry must feel pretty threatened by the tiny little health food section found in some supermarkets to go to such great lengths to scare the public into believing that trying a glass of soymilk or sampling a veggie burger will eat you alive in the form of cancer. "Miracle food"? Now that's downright insulting. Common sense tells us moderation is key.
