EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Product Description The Sports Medicine Patient Advisor contains easy to copy patient education handouts. This is the book that needs to be on every health care provider's bookshelf and should be used constantly. Preprint the topics that are common to your practice and have them readily available to give to your patients. Review the handouts with your patients and be sure they understand how to do the rehab. Your patients will really appreciate learning about their sports injuries or problems and will love getting a home rehabilitation program and a plan that tells them when they can return to their sport or activity. The information contained in this book refers to the use of rehabilitation aids that can be found anywhere - weights in a gym or a person's office or items found at home like a soup can or a hammer! This is the resource that will improve patient satisfaction, compliance and return to action! No patient with a sports related problem should leave your office without receiving a handout. |

| Excellent resource for providers and patients alike, use it everyday! by D. GARBER (Staunton, VA) 5 Stars August 14, 2009 The Sports Medicine Patient Advisor is so useful that I obtained the newest edition, and gave a colleague my old one. I copy information for patient hand-outs nearly daily, and find the exercises to be especially useful. A must for primary care providers!
| | Patient Advisor by Lindsay Jacobs (Michigan) 4 Stars July 20, 2009 I am happy with this book. I have used the first edition of the book and liked that I could give my patients print outs of the exercises we were doing. I also like that it puts an explanation of the injuries in general terms so the patient can understand their injury.
I purchased this edition of the book and the only thing I'm unhappy with is that the pages are very thin. I tear a page w/ every turn.
Other than that...the book its self it very useful!
