| Priceless! by Mom of Food Allergic Child (Janesville, WI USA) 5 Stars July 20, 2009 This book gives great and easy recipes! All of the ingredients are on hand and easy to find. Highly recommended for those families struggling to find foods that are safe and yummy!
| | A must-have for families with these food allergies by Melissa (Pittsburgh, PA) 5 Stars May 04, 2009 This book, as well as her new cookbook, is fantastic!! My son has the dairy-egg-peanut allergy & my husband has a dairy allergy. I've never owned a cookbook that I could make every recipe in it & feed it to my family, and I was running out of new meal ideas when I found these books. There are wonderful cake & frosting recipes and recipes for all courses and occaisions. So many new and simple ideas of ways to prepare chicken, potatoes, rice, desserts and more!! If you have these food allergies in your house the only question is why don't you have this cookbook??!! I ordered this one along with her newer one "What Else is to Eat" and I tell you, not one recipe is repeated. Order them both - you won't be disappointed!!
| | Excellent Book!! by Elle Jones (CT) 5 Stars December 27, 2008 We have already tried some of the recipes and they are excellent. I had a very hard time convincing family and friends that the chocolate cake recipe is dairy-free as everyone commented that it was so delicious!
| | Incredible cookbook using ordinary ingredients by Happy Baker (Maryland, USA) 5 Stars November 13, 2008 Everything I have tried in this book has turned out wonderful. I have several other dairy-free, egg-free cookbooks and they all call for exotic ingredients or Egg Replacer product which makes all my baked goods have a strange salty taste. With this cookbook, I have made delicious cakes, brownies, muffins and cookies completely dairy and egg free. I am sending my recipes to my friends to use for my kids. Thanks so much Linda Coss. I'll be the first to buy your next cookbook!
| | I love this cookbook by S. Grubbs (Goochland, VA USA) 5 Stars November 11, 2008 I must say, this cookbook was and has continued to be a saving grace for my family!! My son, who is now almost 4-years-old and allergy free now, had a terrible problem with milk and egg allergy and slight allergy to peanut in the beginning. He now, thanks in part to these recipes and my staying completely away from all of these for a long period of time has outgrown his allergies. I must say though, there are recipes in this book that will be with me forever. I have friends who have kids with allergies and I am able to provide them with recipe ideas or make them myself, especially at birthday parties so the children do not feel left out. Most of the cookbooks I found did not give you the substitutes, it would just tell you to substitute with something that is egg-free or milk free. What help is that? This cookbook, however, gave you everything.
These products are out there and so much better than you could imagine. If your child suffers from allergies, I highly recommend this cookbook to you!!! My children whole family has enjoyed the recipes it provides.
