CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.0 based on 21 reviews)
| Perfect for mom-of-twins-to-be! by S. Veeman (Oregon) 5 Stars November 02, 2009 Gives the straight facts about what to expect, along with the much needed humor! If you, or someone you know is expecting twins, I would highly recommend reading this book!
| | Very limited perspective by K. Johnson 2 Stars September 05, 2009 I appreciate that the author has had twins and wants to share her experience. But the entire book is written from the perspective of a mother who stays at home, doesn't breastfeed, used fertility treatments, and lives in a two-story house. None of this applies to me. Some of the hints were somewhat useful, for example, wait to see what your babies like before buying 2 of something, but that seems common sense. She makes breastfeeding twins sound impossible and expects all babies to spend lots of time in the NICU. I've already had one child, who I successfully scheduled within 2 months, nursed for a year, and returned to work at 12 weeks. It can be done with one, and I'm looking for a book with hints on how to do it with two!
| | Much better books are available by twin_mom 2 Stars July 10, 2009 The focus of taking care of newborn twins should be their safety and happiness, not what shortcuts can be taken which may or may not affect a baby's safety and the mom's "sorority" friends. I found myself really annoyed with a great deal of this book. After caring for my babies for 3 months I agree even less with this ladies approach. Twinspiration is a better read with much better advise.
| | Best twin book I read by T&T (New Jersey) 5 Stars June 04, 2009 I recommend this to all my friends expecting twins. It was the most realistic, practical book I read during my pregnancy.
| | I loved this book! by M. Greeder (Hugo, MN) 5 Stars February 21, 2009 I had so much fun reading this book. And, I learned a lot. I got some really great ideas and took notes as I read, for example, what I really need to get two of and what stuff I can get by with only having one of. I would say it even saved me money because I didn't rush out and buy two of everything. And again, this book made me laugh out loud just thinking about the craziness I'll be going through by having twins. I recommend this book, my mom is even reading and enjoying it.
