When you need help finding assisted living by William W. Morgan (Sanibel, Florida) 5 Stars
December 21, 2007
This book was invaluable in helping us find an assisted living facility for my sister-in-law. I figured out about half of the questions this book raised - and it was the ones that it raised that saved us from making a HUGE mistake. Through the helpful question and example format, the book was easy to navigate and I found it easy to develop the right question list for us to use when interviewing facilities.

This important handbook helps guide family members through the maze of assisted living options for their elderly loved ones. As the number of elderly Americans continues to surge, more and more families are faced with the overwhelming task of finding, evaluating, and choosing an assisted living facility. As an eldercare executive, I have seen huge increases in people searching for assisted living options that meet their specific needs. This practical handbook provides a step-by-step guide to evaluating these facilities, with emphasis on what you must know before signing on the dotted line.
