| Just what I needed by T. M. Eagle (Denver, CO) 5 Stars March 06, 2008 As I have often found in my life, enlightenment and crucial messages can come in the greatest time of need. This is the case of Apollo's Creed. This book came to me at an important time in my relationship with my acutely ill dog Mojo. Although he ultimately sucumbed to his illness, I was fortunate in that I could provide the best medical care that money could buy, both mainstream and alternative. This author's experience, and choices, validated my own. I found her message to be very comforting and I related to the lessons that she learned.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who has ever loved a pet.
| | Such a sweet book by lucid (California) 5 Stars March 04, 2008 Apollo's Creed: -- You can feel the love the owner and Apollo had for each other. A must read for all dog lovers -- especially those dealing with cancer.
| | If you have ever... by J. Craig (Nebraska) 5 Stars March 04, 2008 I recommend this book to anyone who has faced the sad reality of their pet's health battle. If you have a pet that is your best friend, a part of your family that you know you can NEVER replace, then this is a must read.
| | How many people do you know who have ever had a sick pet? by Jeanne (Denver) 5 Stars March 03, 2008 Now ask yourself, how many of them did much more than take them to the vet? Probably not many, because frankly, what do you do in addition to taking them to the vet? I didn't know until after I read this book.
There is a world of treatments, both mainstream and what I'd call home-health care that apply to dogs and cats that make them feel better and give them better quality of life when they're sick.
This author takes you on her journey - her quest - to give her dog the best quality of life possible, even while struggling with a dread disease.
It is enlightening. Thanks Deb Estes for sharing your story. It is bound to help millions!!!
