Great Book for young ones by Amy I. Spangler-myers (USA) 4 Stars
August 17, 2009
This book is geared towards young children about the age of 15 months up to age 2. Unless the child is not advanced then 3 would be fine. I found very helpful advice and it actually worked and made learning fun. It is so difficult to get children to cooperate especially when you want them to. Assessments are done all the time at day cares, playschools, and doctor offices so we need to work with our children on a daily basis as well. This book will help every parent successful.

Let's Talk Together workbook by K. Newberry (San Antonio, TX) 5 Stars

The activities in this book are well-written, concise and actually fun to do with my toddler. The authors are very knowledgeable and have provided meaningful, progressive instruction that allows me to easily incorporate many of the speech-encouraging exercises into our everyday routine. The Baby Babble DVD is a great accompaniment to this workbook. It shows the authors engaging children in some of the speech/language exercises from the workbook and also demonstrates basic sign language, as well as providing parents with a guideline to help their babies/toddlers develop early language skills. Not to mention, it keeps my son well entertained!

Excellent book with fun activities for hands-on learning by D. Armstrong 5 Stars

I ordered "Let's Talk Together" from Amazon after seeing my daughter's language improve from the Baby Babble videos. This book provides easy-to-follow ideas that promote speech in all aspects of a child's life. It has numerous activities you can do at home to help stimulate speech. Each activity has well defined instructions including: 1. Target of the activity (the goal) 2. Materials needed 3. Words to practice (divided into 3 levels) 4. Procedure I have already implemented many of the activities into our daily routine and as a result, I have seen many improvements in my daughter's speech. This is a must have for all parents and professionals who work with children.

I have a 3 year old daughter who is a little behind with her talking. Since I started using the activities in this workbook, she's picked up several new words, and she's started to talk in short phrases. I like the book because the activities all have of the same format (target/materials/procedure), they're easy to do during our day-to-day routines, and they work.
