| Good reference! by Cassandra L. Lance (Sonoma County, CA) 5 Stars April 12, 2009 I love these consumer's guide books. I have another one too. They are so great and convenient to have on hand. I keep this one in my kitchen.
| | A valuable resource! by Mary Wagoner Angelin 5 Stars December 15, 2008 This is another great resource by Ruth Winter. It is hard to navigate through food ingredients but this compilation makes it easier.
| | A useful book by Tamara (Trinidad) 4 Stars April 19, 2008 Didn't have everything I was looking for, like soda - I see that a lot in ingredients, but could never get a clear understanding of what it actually is. However the book is good. I only wished they made a pocket-size version to take with me when I go shopping for food.
| | I Never Go To The Grocery Store Without This Book by mchandle (Georgia) 5 Stars February 16, 2008 This book has been a lifesaver (literally) for me. After years and years of suffering I was diagnosed with "painless" migraines. They are most often caused by food allergies.
This book helped me track what additives triggered the migraines.
It has also helped me know that many additives also cause serious food cravings. It is definitely helping me with my weight, too.
I would recommend it to anyone who cares about what they put in their body.
I also talk about this book on my blog about weight loss.
| | Know what you're eating. by D. Wenger 5 Stars July 14, 2007 This is a very nice resource to learn of the ingredients in the foods we consume today. Every house should have a copy of this book.
