Product Description
At present there is no accessible text on the basics of cardiac pacing for nurses, first year cardiology fellows, technicians, medical students, pacemaker manufacturers and other true beginners seeking a grounding in the discipline. This text assumes knowledge of the essentials of electrocardiography, yet outlines the principles of cardiac pacing from the very beginning. Illustrating each key concept with clear diagrams, professionally prepared in full colour, the authors provide a comprehensible, step-by-step introduction which will have unique value as a teaching aid. Drs. Serge Barold, Roland Stroobandt and Fons Sinnaeve have brought their extensive experience in cardiac pacing to bear in producing a volume which will be the first port of call for all non-specialists contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiac pacemakers.

Weird but great by Douglas Long (San Rafael, CA USA) 5 Stars

This book looks more like a comic book, which took me aback at first. But it's loaded with all the stuff you need to know in an easy to read format. Nothing lightweight about it.

Not every part of the book is easily understood by Tamer Kýrat'' cardiolog'' (Mugla, Ege Turkey) 3 Stars

Step by step books takes you from zero gradually to a place. But this book takes you from zero to 6,again takes from 1 to 3 etc.Although some parts are easily understood,if you are not familiar to pacemakers you can not understand some parts of this book easily .Some parts are very detailed.Pictures are funny.Perhaps case reviews would be better to understand what to do in the problems of pacemakers. At the end of the book the overview text is well designed and teaching.

Fun to read! by W. M. Waskowksy (Renkum, The Netherlands) 5 Stars

Pacemaker technology is not an easy thing to learn. Often the question is where to start. This illustrated guide presents the basics in a fun way combined with easy to read text. Untill now I read 33% of the book and it feels like I'm getting somewhere.

ESPECTACULAR - OUTSTANDING by Daniel BANINA (Uruguay - South America) 5 Stars

One of the best books about PM I've ever read. It's both didactic and deep, so it explains almost everything. It seems a book for non specialist, but I think even who knows something about PM can learn some things about PM with this book (at least learn how to teach ;) It worth every penny.
