| physical exam & health assessment by Jarvis by Monica Winters (OH) 1 Stars November 15, 2009 The book itself is great - very informational and an easy read. However MY book (s) that I received from the seller both smelled of something rotten - either mold or bad glue. Actually after smelling horrible things (as a nurse for the past 20 years) to me they smelled of death or some other funk. Totally nauseating and unable to hold within 2 feet of my eyes so...I ended up ordering from a university library borrowing program to get thru my class - the only thing that saved me! Fortunately the seller was nice enough to refund my charges and told me to throw away the stinky books which I did.
| | Review of Jarvis Physical Examination and Health Assessment by Mary Ellen Urbanowicz 5 Stars October 12, 2009 This is a major reference book for a Health Assessment course I am taking. It is easy to read and develop study guides from it. I would recommend for a reference book for nurses.
| | Finally! An easy to read nursing textbook. by J. Leggett 5 Stars October 02, 2009 This is book is a required book for our nursing program. And I must say that I am very impressed with it too. One of things I am very impressed with is how easy to read it is. They get straight to the point, they have wonderful pictures, and the material is explained very well. I hope all nursing programs use this book because it is not long and drawn out with fluff. It is also an excellent resource for Rns who want to read up on some basic assessment skills. So worth the buy.
| | Great! by Jennifer Leighton 5 Stars September 11, 2009 This book came fast and was brand new! Thanks so much! It was a great experience!
| | Physical Examination & Health Assessment by B. Chang 1 Stars September 05, 2009 I was very upset about this order because I was waiting for about a month and a half for this book to come in. I emailed the seller asking if my order was still being shipped, but they told me that my book order was canceled; and that I should have gotten a refund. I didn't. So now I'm still waiting for my refund, and I had to re-order my book from another seller.
