EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Product Description Since applying the tools I learned in Brooke's program to my everyday life, I have already released 35 pounds of fat from my body. I no longer struggle with food and exercising has become a joy that I look forward to doing every day. Shopping in the stores I once used to walk by fills me with great delight, because I can finally wear the kinds of cute clothes that better fit my personality. Once I was able to create a new mind set that I am worth taking great care of myself, I experienced more happiness than I have ever known. For me, freedom from the weight struggle has been worth taking the risk to try again just one more time.' Suyin N. Client San Mateo, CA |

| HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for emotional eaters by J. Henderson (Alabama) 5 Stars October 05, 2009 This book has helped me soooooo much. It is an easy, but thought-provoking read. I have learned to identify and respond to my emotions instead of reaction to them by eating. My whole mindset about eating has changed. I have been eating healthier since reading this book and have lost 6 pounds in the last 3 weeks because of it.
| | Yes, you can lose weight and live your best life too! by vb 5 Stars June 28, 2009 I have tried many many many diet books. This is not another one of them. It is everything and more - no nonsense, plain and simple, yet powerful and motivating. It has definitely changed my thinking around. I mean - literally! I have purchased her complete Coach-in-a-Box kit along with this book and - and let me tell you - I am on chapter 1 and I have lost 12 lb already! I know I have tons of work ahead of me - I got to do all the exercises in this book, but I cannot complain. This is so far the best gift I have given myself - the gift that tells me how to bring joy into my life. But I do recommend to purchase Coach-in-a-Box, it will give you so much more. One more piece of advice: don't forget to do all the exercises she tells you to do in this book. You will probably have to write a lot for a while, but you have to do it in order to get the results you want. Good luck reading!
| | EASY weight-loss for once! by Kaye O. 5 Stars March 28, 2009 I have tried diet after diet to try and shed these stubborn 10-12 pounds that have crept up on me since my early 20s. I have subclinical hypothyroidism, which means my thyroid is a little lazy, but not enough to be medicated, which is frustrating! This book was the solution to all of my weight woes. The author uses a very realistic and simple approach that really made me re-evaluate how I look at food. The "hunger scale" has helped me tremendously. The weight is literally falling off of me. I'm 5'3'' and started off at 128 (I know, it doesn't seem like a high number, but I gained at least 10 pounds over two years, which is a lot for my frame). I've been following the advice of the author and have lost 8-9 pounds in 20 days!!! I haven't even been working out as much as I should be and I'm never starving.
A word of advice would be to purchase this book with the DietMinder Personal Food & Fitness Journal, as the author highly suggests writing down everything you eat. I can't speak highly enough about this combination. For the first time in years, I'm excited about bikini season!!
