I read Woofing It Down about 6 months ago. I used the recipes in the book and it made a big difference in my 11 year old mutt. He has more energy and is more the way he used to be 6 years ago. Great job Patricia. Thanks for giving me back my puppy. TG Powell

As a vet I have seen many dogs and cats that have suffered the ill affects from eating low quality diets, and raw food diets, which have caused illness and even death. This book has the correct information, it was well researched, and the recipes are nutrionally balanced. I highly recommend this one to all my patients. I also recommend the author's other book, Lapping it Up for cats.

The recipes in this book are ok. I bought it for my dog because it had a chapter for senior dogs which turned out to be one page. I think she has antiquated thinking when it comes to raw diets for dogs. Ideas that have been proven false. But the recipes are ok. My dogs has arthritis though and i was looking for a grain free diet for him and this wont help.

This book saved my dogs life. I found this book well written, easy to understand, and my dog loves the food. My dog was ill, and I really thought I was going to lose her. As a last ditch attempt I decided to take her off dog food, and give these recipes a try. The change in my dog was immediate, nearly overnight, my dog took a turn for the BETTER!!! I highly recommend this book to anyone that owns a dog. I will never again feed a dog anything else but recipes from this book.

My great dane is diabetic. Her health was taking a drastic turn for the worse. I was amazed to see such a turn-around in not only her health status; but her alertness, appetite, etc. Ms. Patricia O'Grady also gave me individual guidance counsel. I didn't feel like a number; but like someone she really cared about. I got to know her through Facebook. I have kept this book close at hand; and keep referring to it. The holistic attempt is all new to me, but because of the great results I have seen, I am willing to continue. I am even getting my second dog gradually onto this new diet.Woofing it Down: The quick & easy guide to making healthy dog food at home.
