Something must be real in these books, otherwise we have to assume that Maximillien de Lafayette is the greatest science fiction writer in the world!! It appears that he wrote more than 50 books on UFOs and extraterrestrials. already bought 5 and am planning on buying more. There is no way all these 50 books are based on fantasy and fiction.
No person can have such large imagination.
Some said he is a CIA. No way Jose. He is French. Americans don't trust the French and the French don't trust the American military. Besides he is very old, almost 105 years old.
So we are getting somewhere. I think Maximillien de Lafayette has access to secret files packed with secrets. He stumbled on a gold mine. And since he lives in seclusion out of each of the CIA and other intelligence agencies, he is not afraid of getting killed. People in America say that those who worked for secret military projects and opened their mouths got killed. UFOlogists listed dozens upon dozens of killed scientists.
Delafayette's books are different from regular UFOS books published in America. There are so many confidential information and historical references not usually presented in other books. What amazes me is the comparison he uses when analyzing American and foreign data. Is he trying to tell us something? Is he warning us? Is he preparing us to face
something, either good or lethal? Anyway, his books are fantastic!

This book is about as authentic as a plastic Xmas tree. Can the word "authentic" be used for such a "genre" (lol) Forget the book. It's the reviews that are the real prize. They read like those Nigerian bank scams and are of two types: (1) Daughter, niece or neighbor (you choose) "happened" to give them this book or (2) they heard about the author, a stupendously popular genius. (LOL) In fact, reading the reviews are much more entertaining than plowing through the monotonous manuscript. I pulled this out of the other junk in the "Free" pile at the bookstore with the thought, how bad can it be? Unless you are a "Reptilian Conspiracy" fan who thinks that Bush and Clinton shapeshift in the Oval Office, this will most likely not be your cup of tea.
We are in the midst of an internal war among the conspiracy nuts. Who secretly controls the world? They can't decide if it's (1) Illuminati/ evil Jewish bankers or (2) Vatican & Satan or (3) the alien reptiles known variously as the Annunaki or Anunnaki. To further complicate matters, "serious" UFO researchers decry the lizard folk and blast Icke as part of the conspiracy. Maybe the Devil made them do it. We'll ask his homeboy, the Pope (lol).
OK, the book. It's a literary joke, chock full of secret societies, secret plots, secret agendas that are about as secret as the evening news. Youtube fans have heard about vast, global conspiracies for years in all manner of detail. You'd think that folks who could cross galaxies (adn dimensions - don't ask) could stop these startling revelations from appearing? Never mind. After reading the book I still have no idea what their plan is for humanity and why they are waiting to implement it. I mean, why "create" humans and then not reveal yourself? Why all the dang hocus pocus? What's with the long wait before enslavement?
Some reviewers admit they did not read the book (but gave it 5 stars). I admit I skimmed the thing and kept reading the absurd parts out loud on a trip until my wife told me to shut up about that nonsense. My grade - D- for unintentional human and some imagination.

In Cairo, we give reviews for books, we do not attack writers, authors and their families. In America, things are different. You are attacked and hated by people you never knew. This what is going here with a few malicious people who HATE this author. He has done nothing wrong to them or to anybody, except being very successful.
I believe only good words come from good people, and bad words come from bad people no matter how hard they try to justify their hatred and badmouthing. Be constructive in life, be nice, be polite, the world is already dirty and unpleasant, why to add more hatred and bad things? Do something more positive and helpful to others instead of hurting others!
Anyway. I bought 8 books written by this author. Friends of mine who worked at the American University in Cairo bought all his series. And Let me tell you they are educated people with high degrees.
They all loved this author's books. He is serious and this is what he does for living, writing books for more than 40 years in many languages.
If you want really to know about these subjects, you should read books written by writers like him who has no social or political agenda.
He writes very well and very intelligently. He is a real pro and respected all over the world.
The subjects of Ufos and paranormal are strange and not well understood by the general public. If you read these books, your friends will laugh at you.
But when you read Mr. Lafayette's books (Any one) you will learn serious things and you will counter the criticism of those who laugh at you.
I like and respect very much this writer and I wish him continuous success.

Gee, something is fishy here. Why is it that multiple books by this author are given IDENTICAL reviews by the same reviewers? How is it that they're all priced exactly the same and carry either 5-star or 1-star reviews?
These reviewers are apparently shills for the author. Don't fall for this blatent manipulation of the Amazon review system!!!!!

For my birthday, my niece Inge gave me a nice present; a vintage book on Johannes Guttenberg, and six books on extraterrestrials by Maximilian de Lafayette, and said it is no Johann von Goethe, it's about UFOS, but dramatic enough." Lafayette (Author of the other book) is on the list of the 2,000 most famous and recognized celebrities in the world, here, click on this [...] , it is about the most important and famous people...he produced a show in Berlin and wrote about German cinema, the book is scientific." Inge thought a book on extraterrestrials is not academic enough for my taste, so she emphasized on the importance of the author to activate my interest in the book.
I smiled, because the author of the extraterrestrials' book is an old acquaintance of mine, and he did not need an introduction; I knew Dr. Maximilian for long time and we worked together in Algiers, and Damascus in 1963-1964, along with the cultural attaché at the French embassy. In 1983, I met once again with Dr. Maximilian in Washington, D.C, USA, through a mutual Friend, Dr. Wolf, then the cultural attaché of Deutsche Demokratische Republik (The former German Democratic Republic).
Between 1946 and 1949, German scientists teamed up with their American counterparts to develop a space program.
Dr. Wernher Maximilian von Braun was in charge of the space program. Investigating unidentified flying objects was the responsibility of Dr. Hermann Julius Oberth. Amid my research, I had the opportunity to work on similar project. Needless the say, the subject of extraterrestrials and advanced alien technology preocuppied me for two decades. Regrettably, ufology as science or a learming methodology did not advance much, for lack of scholarly research and scientific data. In reading Dr. Maximilian de Lafayette's serious books, I suddenly realized that I could be mistaken. Perhaps, ufology did advance quite a bit.
In fact, the amount and quality of scientific data on recent discoveries, and official authorities' involvement with unidentified flying objects, as evidenced and exhibited in Dr. de Lafayette's books lead me to believe, that these phenomena are taken into serious considertation by the scientific community in the United States of America. It is my strong belief, that in the very near future, the European Space Agency, NASA and EU will officially acknowledge the existence of UFO. I encourage academicians and scientists to intensify their research and publish papers on the subject in scientific journals.
