| Good Information by Eagle Eye (Los Angeles) 4 Stars August 21, 2009 I live a stressful life to say the least. I realized that I can relax and go into a meditative state during the day when I need it. So, reading this book really helped me figure out the tools that I needed to accomplish this.
| | Not that helpful by sunny (Las Vegas) 2 Stars May 25, 2009 I really can't say I got that much out of the book. I liked the fact that it did briefly discuss other methods as well as TM. But brief is the key word. There's just not that much in this little book. If you are interested in TM, check out NSR on the web. It's just about the same thing for a whole lot less money. About 1/50 of the price of the TM course, and written by someone with TM experience.
| | Helped at explaining Transcendental Meditation by C. Knight (NYC) 3 Stars May 19, 2009 This book explained Transcendental meditation in a very easy way. Could have used a little more explanation about the meaning of some of the more common words used as well as techniques.
| | Biggest Rip Off Ever by J. Sawyer (Ohio) 1 Stars May 15, 2009 I have never written a review before until now. This is book is the biggest rip off I've ever seen. There are more blank spaces then words in this book. Do not buy this book! You pay about $1.00 per word and learn meditation is a way to relax.
| | How to do Transcendental Meditation by GMS1006 (Monrovia, Md. United States) 1 Stars May 01, 2009 Title is somewhat misleading as the book covers other meditation practices also. Not very detailed, and very little on Transcedental. Book wanders from one to another and would be very confusing to someone starting to meditate. And if you have been practicing meditation for any length of time this book is not going to tell you anything you don't know.
I think the title of the book to attract attention of people who want to try Transcendental Meditation, but don't want to spend The $750.00 to $2500.00 for the course. It is alot of money but if you want to learn Transcendental Meditation, I've resigned myself that paying the fee is the only way. You certainly will not learn it from this book.
