| Best Book I've Read to Date on Gastric Bypass Surgery by HGR (Los Angeles, CA) 5 Stars November 06, 2009 Lori Ferrante has written a little gem of a book with "Ready, Set, Shrink!" It is a concise, straightforward accounting of what to expect, how to plan,
and ultimately how to succeed following Gastric Bypass Surgery. I am in the early stages of getting ready to have this procedure, and while it is
a bit scary, it is also exciting to think about the positive changes to come. Lori provides lists of items you should have in
place waiting for you at home post operatively, graphs to be sure you are meeting all of your nutritional needs and great ideas on measuring your
liquids/solids as well as great tips on products to consider as you progress through the various stages of introducing nutrition back into life after surgery.
This is not a thick book, but it is packed to the brim with all you need to know. This book will be with me at the hospital and by my side thereafter.
Great Job!
