| Too General by Jen Wren 3 Stars December 02, 2007 It is a good resource but it is too general. I was looking for something a little more specific that I could use during recovery for more specific questions and with more concrete examples and detailed descriptions of what to expect.
| | Excellent Book by LivingForJ (US) 5 Stars August 28, 2006 This book should be handed out in hospitals for women who have had a c-section. For a woman with no knowledge on what to expect before, during, and after a c-section, this book contains all the information that I needed to know. The book is very easy to read, every page is in glossy color with many pictures on what to expect and how to do the recovery exercises. The section on breastfeeding is very helpful as well. The book is divided into sections for each part of recovery, from 1-3 days, 4-7, weeks 2-12, 12-24, etc. I started reading this from my library on week 11 and started from the beginning exercises (from day 1) and feel GREAT after doing them. I was unsure what exercises I could do besides keigals and walking, this answered everything for me.
I highly recommend!

| Lose Your Mummy Tummy by Julie Tupler (Author), Jodie Gould (Author)
A groundbreaking yet simple set of exercises that will flatten the dreaded "mummy tummy"-regardless of a woman's age or when she had a baby. Pregnancy naturally separates a mother's outermost abdominal muscles to make room for her growing uterus. Called a diastasis, this separation doesn't fully close up in 98 percent of new moms. The larger the diastasis, the weaker the muscles and the greater chance for mom to develop back problems down the road. Of perhaps greater concern for moms, new...
